I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the truemeaning of its creed-we hold theses truths to be self-Oevident, that all men arecreated equal.I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia, sons offormer slaves and sons of former slave owners will be able to sit together atthe table of brotherhood.I have a dream my four little children will one daylive in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but bythe content of their character.i have a dream today!

When we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village andhamlet, from every state and city, we will be able to speed up that day when allof God’s children-black men and white men , jews and Gentiles, Catholics andProtestants-will be able to join hands and to sing in the words of the old Negrospiritual, “free at least ,free at last .Thank God Almighty, we are free atlast.”

We have only one earth.But now,the environment becomes worse and worse.Asyou know,there's no enough clean water for people.So many of them lose theirlives because of water.In a lot of countries,people have to cut trees forliving.So there's nothing to keep water from running away.Also we have pollutedthe land,the river and the air.Some people may say:we are the masters ofnature.Now the "master" seems to be confronted with problems that are far beyondhis control.

the holes of the ozone layer make the earth less suitable to live for somecreatures including human beings.Facing all the disasters made by ourselves,wehave the responsibility to deal with the problem.

we must do something useful to protect our environment.We can plant treesand take good care of them.We can save the water and ask our parents to do so.Wecan't throw any litter onto the ground and we should collect them forrecycling.If we take good care of our earth today,it will be more beautifultomorrow.

我们只有一个地球.但是现在,环境变得越来越糟.如你所知,也没有足够的清洁饮水的人.所以许多人失去了他们的生命,因为水.在很多国家,人们不得不砍树的生活.所以没有什么能阻止水的流失.我们还污染了土地,河流和空气.有些人可能会说：我们是自然的主人.现在的“主人”似乎面临的问题远远超出他的控制。

when i was seven, i started learning english.i played games and sangenglish songs with other children.sometimes, i watched english cartoons.it'sfunny.then i discovered the beauty of the language, and began my colorful dreamin the english world.

i hope i can travel around the world someday.i want to go to america tovisit washington, because my cousin is over there.of course, i want to go tolondon too, because england is where english language developed.if i can ridemy bike in cambridge university, i will be very happy.

i hope i can speak english with everyone in the world.also i'll introducechina to them, such as the great wall, and the gardens in suzhou.i willteaching people of the world about the beautiful language of our country.

i like the english language.to learn english is wonderful.i once wantedto be an english teacher .i also like chinese literature.when i was reallyyoung, i was able to remember lots of poems.i also wanted to be a teacher ofchinese.now i think that both of my dreams can come true: i will be able to useenglish to teach foreign friends chinese and share chinese culture with them.sothat more and more people will be able to get to know the 5000 years' historyculture, and the prosperity of our great china.

my future is not a dream.

This is a glass of water, tasteless, right? However if you add sugar, itwill taste sweet, but if you add vinegar, it will become bitter.The same istrue with our life the flavor is created by our choices.

If kindness is added to a strange you will have a friend; but if hostilityis added, you will have an enemy.If love is added to a pile of red bricks youwill have a home, but if hatred is add to those bricks , you will have anconcentration camp.

So my dear friends, never complain that life is boring and the world isdisappointing.If don’t like the taste of your life, change the ingredients.

Three year ago, I weighed more than 100 hundred kilograms which causedsignificant embarrassment and frustration in my life.Like always failing my P.Eexaminations, like always being laughed at by girls, like being terrified tospeak in public.It was my grandmother’s encouragement that revived from mypassive attitude to become confident in myself.She said “ My dear, if you can’tchange you figure, why not treat it as your own style.So I began to cautiouslyemploy the new way of thinking.By choosing to change my outlook on life, Ideveloped the confidence to make a difference and finally I found a totally newworld.

So my dear friend, if faith, hope, love, endurance are added to your life,you will find the confidence to conquer your limitation and embrace newchallenges.And hopefully with my speech included, you will have a fantasticspeech contest.

In the State of Zheng.There was a man who wanted to go into town to buy apair of new shoes.

郑国，有个人想去城里买一双新鞋子。

Before leaving home, he measured his foot with a piece of straw for size.After he arrived at the town and entered a shoe shop, he put his hand into hispocket only to find that in his haste he had left the measurement at home.Thereupon, he turned round and started for home.But when he rushed back to theshoeshop with the measurement, the shop had closed.As a result, he had suanwenwbusied himself for nothing.

他离家前先用一根稻草量了自己的脚，把他当作尺码。他到了城里，走进鞋店，伸手摸口袋，从发现因为急着赶路，把尺码忘在家里了。于是，他转身就往家里跑。可是等他拿着尺码赶回鞋店的时候，店已经关门了。结果，他白忙了一阵子，还是没有买到鞋子。

Later, someone asked him:” Were you buying shoes for yourself or forothers? ”

后来，有人问他：“你是给自己买鞋，还是给别人买鞋?”

He answered:” For myself.”

他回答说：“是给我自己。

Someone else asked him:” Don’t you have your feet on yourself? You needonly to Try on shoes with your feet to get the right size.Why did you go backhome to fetch the measurement? “

别人又问他：“脚不是长在你自己身上吗?英语小短文只要用你的脚去试试鞋子的大小，不就可以了吗?为什么还要回家去拿尺码呢?“

The man of Zheng insisted:” I would rather trust the measurement than myown feet.”
