i’m in charge of all non-seagate end user shpts via pvg gateway. these cnees are located in the yangtze river delta – shanghai, zhejiang province and jiangsu province, these companies are almost famous company in 500 best businesses in the world such as dell, intel,hp, etc.

before the shpt departed from org station, org colleagues will send pre-alert documents to us so that we can do some preparation beforehand, if cnee is in shanghai, we will notify cnee directly with scan document, if cnee is in zhejiang or jiangsu, i will notify local ups, local ups colleague notify customer.

in accordance with the chinese customs regulations, if cnee is in bonded zone, shpts should be handled customs transfer from pvg to local bonded zone with bonded truck under the supervision

ndof customs and handle 2 customs clearance in local bonded zone. some important bonded zone in

yangtze river delta are shanghai waigaoqiao, suzhou industrial zone, suzhou logistics park, wuxi industrial zone, etc.

for another dtd shpts in free area, we will handle cciq(china commodity inspection quarantine) & customs clearance in pvg customs, no matter handling customs transfer or customs clearance @ pvg, before declaration we should check & confirm below points:

1) if the packing materials is wooden plt/ctn,ippc (international plant protection convention)

stamp must be indicated on the package as the ispm#15 rules (international standard for phytosanitary measures), otherwise any non-compliance with the rule or harmful/live forest organisms was found during inspection after cargo arrival at china ports will result in the subsequence of - the cargo owner, or his agent , should under the supervision of cciq , subject the wood packing to phytosanitary treatment ,destroy , or return the wood packing togather with the cargo

2) check the documents more carefully , gross weight, pcs, etc.

3) confirm no discrepancy between cargo information in customs data system and customs

documents

4) confirm cargo have been distributed to our whse

5) if damage was found when shpt arrived whsr or left whse, whse man will take detail damage

photo, csr must inform customer & origin station timely, csr should investigate the root cause before send damage incident report to relevant person.

after finished c/c, we will arrange delivery to cnee’s hub, cnee sign in pod, csr update pod in e2k system. if pod is dirty…

after finished all import formalities, csr should update fgv &e2k system @ every import milestone. due to seagate request, i will send daily report to provide cargo tracking & tracing.
